The last few weeks has seen some great progress in the establishment of our shed facilities. The second hand 40ft portable office has been repaired with a new wall and carpet in one room which is intendeded to be the office and library/internet access room. The Audio-Visual room has been temporarily used as an eating room and on friday 29th Nov the power was connected so we can start moving in. The new Eating Room has been constructed and power connected with floor covering, tables, chairs and cupboards to be gradually added. A new fridge, stove and freezer are soon to be installed, courtesy of the Australia Post grant. Some progress has also been made to remove some stored timber into the installed conatiners freeing up the main shed area so the workshop can be made workable. A new metal lathe installed and just about ready to be used. Other equipment soon to follow.
A sausage sizzle was held today Sunday 1st Dec but not a great deal of sales today.
